HELLO 409!

Chicken tee, revised
Ok we've delayed class tee for quite some time...
Anyway I'm awaiting a few printers' quotations, and will pick the best. Meanwhile I need everyone to give their shirt sizes (going by oldest PE shirt sizing, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 etc.) to me ON MONDAY AND NO LATER. Or else I'll give you size 50.
And.
Do you guys want printing on both sides? It'll be a little cheaper (but plainer) if it's one-sided. And because of school rules we must put the letters "NYGH" or school logo, at least 4cm wide on our shirt.
So I propose a few solutions:
1) Just original design on front, and somehow discreetly squeeze "nygh" in there
2) Print on both sides. Chicken on front, small "NYGH" in white (and optional egg) on back.
3) Small PE logo in white on front, chicken on back.
4) Tell the LD that the school logo is already in our design, just that the chicken is sitting on it.
I strongly recommend #1 or #2. But not #4.
Okay so take a vote and we'll decide on Monday. Yippee.

yay. here's some information about investiture tmrw that u all might be interested in:
NYSL Investiture 2009 Seating Arrangement
i. Rationale for arrangement
All classes in which the presidents and vice-presidents of the different SL groups belong to are situated on the first floor of the auditorium. Most of the other classes were allocated seats by drawing lots, whereas a few were selected to fit the number of seats the respective venues can accommodate.
ii. Summary of seating arrangement
All Secondary 4 classes are situated either in the auditorium or the two lecture theatres.
Seven Secondary 3 classes will be situated in either the auditorium (two) or the lecture theatres (five), which are: 3/3, 3/4, 3/5, 3/10, 3/11, 3/13, and 3/14. The other seven classes will be situated in the hall.
The enrolment of the classes comprise of the number of students and number of teachers, including that of NYSL members being installed and on duty. However, for classes on the first level of the auditorium, the number of students who are in the ranks of President and Vice-President in NYSC, PSL, BOM and BEL have been excluded from their class enrolment.
The number of seats allocated for each venue is more than the capacity of the venues, because there has not been an exclusion of councillors, PSL, BOM and BEL EXCO members (who will be installed) from the enrolment of the classes. Also, it is expected that there will be absentees, hence, compensating for the larger number of allocated seats.
During the Investiture, should there be insufficient seats due to a larger number of guests than expected; students on the first level sitting nearer the stage will be requested to move to either the Lecture Theatres or the school hall. However, if there are insufficient seats in the Lecture Theatres or the school hall, students may have to move to the hall, which has been proven to be able to fit the entire student population at events such as the Chinese New Year concert and Teachers’ Day Celebrations.
iii. Summary of number of seats allocated to classes in respective venues
Format of summary:
Venue (number of available seats)
Class (number of students + number of form teachers) = class (number of people in the audience from this class)
...
Sum of classes in respective venue = sum of allocated seats
Number of seats allocated per class: 403 (37), 410 (30), 413 (27), 314 (27)
Total: 121
Lecture Theatre 1 Seating Arrangement
Seating Capacity: 252 seats
Classes allocated: 402 (38), 404 (37), 406 (38), 409 (33), 411(34), 304 (38), 305 (37)
Total: 255 (inclusive of all NYSC, and BOM, BEL and PSL EXCO members)

hello!
lien here! rgd class cleanliness, YAY that we got a B! that is good:D
anyway, another good thing! last week, 23/26 ppl did their duties! (26 after minusing FM, AM and M) heh that's why we got B! so we should keep it up.
anyway, for the orange slip of paper that si lei gives out, please do not throw them away! everytime after u all do ur duty please rmb to pass it to me, so that i can pass to silei. or else ur name will not be marked even though u might have done your duty!
yes anyway, regarding arranging tables. yx gave me a very good suggestion! cos there's nothing much to arrange for tables, ive decided that those in charge of arranging tables shall also clean the tables. dont have to clean until like shiny and nice, just nned to make sure that the table ledges are rid of stuff like eraser dust, staplets and stuff!
oh yeah rgd sweeping of floors, like i know sometimes it's like the floor seems like it has no rubbish. but just sweep it even if u cant see anything, because you know, the purpose of sweeping the floor is not only ridding it of rubbish, it is also ridding it of DUST. and as u know, the colour of dust is grey/black which blends in with our lovely uncemented floor which is grey! SO! although u seem to see nothing dust is still there so please sweep! esp under the side tables near the window, there's alot of dust always. be cinderellas! THANK YOU!:D:D
ANYWAY the window ppl did a good job! the windows are always clean everytime i check!:D:D HEH. <3 the window ppl!
k anyway, those who dont do duty i will tell jingyi, and err jingyi will do smtg abt it! if anyone happens to have alot of cca commitments (by that i mean cca during recess lunch and after sch) and has no time to do duty, let jingyi, silei or me know and we'll do smtg about it.
that's all! i feel like a naggy grandmother.
HA. LET'S AIM FOR A NEXT TIME!:D

Dear 409,
Y
VALENTINE'S DAY IS COMING SOON!
In case you are old and forgetful, it's on 14 FEBRURY :D But since it's on a Saturday this year, we'll celebrate it on 13 February, Friday!
Like last year, everyone will have a secret valentine, and you'll find out who yours is this Friday (PCCG lesson) so you'll have a week to get that person something nice! While you go shopping for your graces dress (if you haven't got one) remember to get a gift and make someone feel loved hahaha!
Okay that's all. Happy school-ends-early day tomorrow!
Cheers
